We’re super excited to have Adam Phillips and Matt (aka Moose) from Charleston Washing Pros and the Slinging Sauce Podcast, on the #TrudiTime podcast.

HOW ADAM GOT STARTED:
Adam got into washing started in 2020, when COVID was happening. He and his wife owned a fitness franchise, and their franchise had paused everything. He started by using a pressure washer that he had in his garage. He started with his pressure washer, in his Nissan. One of the things that he learned, is that borrowing money could get you into trouble, so he and his wife had to walk way from their fitness franchise with debt. He has his wife, now work in the business together.

They set out to do when they started their pressure washing service, was give their clients great customer service.

One question that other people ask Trudi that are afraid to leave their current job, is to just jump into it. The one thing that Adam learned, is that you should compare how much you make in a day washing, and how much you can make in a day at the other job. When you set yourself up financially, is when you do make the jump you will work harder to get the funds.

HOW MATT GOT STARTED:
Matt's experience is a little different than Adams. This is a product of COVID as well. He was a chef for over 16 years, and COVID restructured his industry. He decided that after stepping away from being a chef, he wanted to start up a "Home Service" business and that is where Pressure Washing came onto the scene. He and his wife were able to save some money to start his business off with those funds. He was fortunate to start off with some inexpensive equipment and a good mentor.

HOW TRUDI GOT STARTED:
Trudi and Shane started to open a ppressure-washing warehouse during COVID. The warehouse started with just having a supply of equipment and chemicals to supply them when they were out washing, and then the service took off in supplying the US with power washing equipment and supplies.
